14 Days of Valentines
To say I like Valentine's Day would be a huge understatement.
My obsession with the holiday began in grade school when my mom would help me decorate my valentine mailbox and write out cards for every kid in my class. I'm not sure what exactly it is about Valentine's Day. The shades of pink and red, hearts and chocolates. Whether i've been single or in a relationship, I've celebrated Valentine's Day every year. This year, I'm in a relationship and I wanted to make this love holiday extra special for my honey.
If you've ever been on Pinterest, you've probably heard of "14 Days of Valentines." If you have no idea what I'm talking about, the best way I can describe it is the advent calendar of Valentine's Day. Each day of February leading up to Valentine's Day, you leave a little present for your significant other. These gifts are usually accompanied by puns, and that might be my favorite part. I know, I know it's cheesy. But that's what I love about it.
Here are some of my favorites from this year.
You're stuck
with me!
Mostly for the purpose of laptop stickers, I bought these for my boyfriend to feed his Trasher obsession. These are available at Zumiez stores and online here or by clicking on the photo.
Kisses for when I'm not around.
You can't do Valentine's Day without some form of chocolate. This pun was just too easy to pass up!
A minute without you is a minute wasted.
I got my inspiration for this one on Pinterest. Instead of filling a whole heart-shaped box like they did in the post, I went with just one cute little bottle of jack.
I love you a whole latte.
There are so many different ways to incorporate this pun, but in this case I used it for this reusable Starbucks cup. I have passed on my coffee addiction to my boyfriend so it was about time he had his own to-go cup.
